The source does not establish a contractor’s specialties, customer reviews, availability, email, exact service address, service radius, or lead opt-in. Mailing addresses—including PO Boxes—are shown as recorded and map pins remain approximate.
An authenticated administrator can supplement the source with a public phone and public California address. A confirmed street result improves map placement; an unconfirmed street or PO Box uses the entered California ZIP centroid and remains approximate. The override does not modify the underlying CSLB record. Contractors separately choose their preferred project categories and whether to accept email leads.
Only administrator-approved, homeowner-sourced reviews affect a contractor's displayed average. Pending review text, audio, and before-and-after images remain private. A call activity record means a visitor tapped a telephone link; it does not prove that a call connected or became a project.
Production operations should automate a regular CSLB source refresh and application rebuild, then revalidate selected license records before distributing a lead.
